Bonus features on Be Cool DVD

The special features on the disc almost make-up for the sub-par movie. Almost. In addition to a standard “making-of” documentary piece (which you’ll want to skip if you didn’t like the movie), there are five “Up-Close” featurettes, which offer in-depth looks into the five subjects: John and Uma’s dance sequence, The Rock, André 3000 (a highlight – he spends the entire time complaining about his character’s wardrobe), Cedric the Entertainer and Milian. There are also twelve deleted scenes included on the disc, as well as two alternate cuts of scenes that were in the film. Let’s just say you didn’t miss anything. The Gag Reel piece, a string of bloopers and outtakes set to music, was much more fun. Finally, music fans rejoice – there’s an included full-length version of the music video, “You Ain’t Woman Enough To Take My Man,” starring The Rock. Loretta Lynn, eat your heart out!
