HBK Talks About WrestleMania Match With Rock; Denied
Ok well I promised if any issues stemmed up surrounding the HBK vs Rock issue I would post them. Sounds like some of us were right about the match not happening but as the old wrestling saying goes never say never:
HBK confirmed what had previously been reported — that his request for a match with Rock at WrestleMania was denied — in an interview with IGN: “I had mentioned me and Rock because wrestling fans haven’t seen it, but he’s not interested in doing that.”
As has been reported, Rock’s rationale for not wrestling HBK is two-fold. In addition to still holding the fact that he was mistreated upon entering WWE against Michaels, he also does not believe HBK was a big enough star to sell the match as a dream showdown.

man i hoped rock faces hbk because i heard vince is pulling out all the bucks to bring back rock vs hbk if rock is not facing hbk at mania then who is he going to face? I know he said he would like to face rey mysterio but i think mysterio is giong to win the rumble tonight. But there is orton and cena left. But if you think about it on raw monday when vince came in hbks locker room and said your luck will run out at the rumble and then vince said he gurandamtes it. And who always says that word the rock. and the rumble is in miami. Well lets see what happens any thing can happen in the wwe.
