Update on Rock v. HBK at WM22

To update on the possibility of The Rock at Wrestlemania, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the one person he would want to work with is Bret Hart. Due to Hart’s respect for the Rock, if he was to work with someone, The Rock would be a likely candidate. However, his physical condition likely prevents him from doing a match that he would want to be remembered for….
WWE has suggested Michaels as an opponent for him, however The Rock wasn’t a fan of that idea. He has made it clear that he felt Shawn Michaels was an asshole to him when he first came in, and was one to the point where he vowed he will never forget it. He also doesn’t think that Michaels is the same kind of big draw that Hogan, Austin, Hart, etc. are.
There is a chance that the filming of his next movie could be delayed until April, which would allow him to appear at Mania.
webmistress: I knew Rock wouldn’t want to work with HBK. I think HBK feels bad because he was so rude to Rock when they were both in the business together years ago. HBK had a reputation back then for having the I am all that and more attitude. I wonder what really happened though

Are they talking about Bret Hart’s physical condition or The Rock’s? Sorry, I don’t follow wrestling since The Rock left. I was just wondering if either Hart or the Rock had gotten injured recently? Or could the comment mean that The Rock is quite a bit thinner now and not exactly bulked up as he was in his wrestling days?

I believe they are referring to Hart he got injured a few yrs back and had to quit wrestling.

IT SUCKS NOT SEEING ROCK ON A REGULAR BASIS I MEAN ALL OF THESE
WANNABES TRYING THEIR HARDEST TO BE THE NEXT HIM AINT WORKIN BUT ALOT OF
PEOPLE THINK ROCK WAS BEING TREATED LIKE HE DIDNT BELONG IN THE BUSINESS AND
HBK WAS THE MAIN ONE TREATING HIM LIKE THAT…….

They are talking about Bret Hart who suffered a mild stroke a year or
so ago. But they say Rock has been training since his last movie Doom to
get back into the ring. Also I will go along with Rock on this one. Hbk
seems like one of those guys who treated people like crap and after he
found god he believes he is a changed man and people should like the
new him. Whatever i don’t think Rock ever treated someone with disrespect
and it was wrong of HBK to treat Rock the way he did.

Ah, gotcha. I felt kind of dumb after posting that because then I went
and Googled Bret Hart and found that he is actually an ‘older’
wrestler…not Hulk Hogan old, but ya know.
It would be so great to see The Rock wrestle again. I miss being able
to see him on a regular basis. It sucks having to wait for movie
promotions.

So is The Rock gonna be at WM22? I MISS HIM. I wonder how his wrestling skills are since he hasn’t wrestled for a while.
