Possibilities for WM22

We’re hearing that the current plan for the Vince McMahon/Shawn Michaels storyline is for Shawn to face none other than The Rock at Wrestlemania 22 in Chicago. In the storyline Vince will apparantly put up “big bucks” to bring back “Hollywood” Rock in an attempt to take out Michaels. Interestingly, you’ll remember them doing something VERY similar back in 2003 before No Way Out with The Rock coming back in to face Hogan. Due to the (fairly) detailed description of what the plan is we would assume rock has already been contrcted and has agreed to the match. We would not expect a long feud however, instead expect vince to feud with HBK and bring Rock in just a few weeks prior to wrestlemania. This would work out best for Rock who is beginning filming of a new movie around April time.
This also puts the rumoured Austin/Hogan match in major doubt as we are told WWE do not want to promote both austin/hogan and rock/michaels on the same card, so if this is the plan as we are hearing it is then it seems WWE must have given up on getting austin and hogan together at WM.
More as we get it.
webmistress comments: ok not to rain on anyone parade but I remember Rock saying he had no desire to work with Michaels whatsoever so I would like to see how this is gonna play out. I will keep you all posted when i get news

ok. so everybody getting their wish micheal’s and rock. so i guess. he is heel? and micheal is baby face.plus he did said, he doesn’t want any part of micheal’s.and i knew hogan and steve wasn’t going to happen due to steve condition’s….i don’t know myself how this going to pan out. i guess we going to watch and see how this rock and micheal’s fued will be.?

I Have a feeling it’s not going to be The Rock vs HBK I have a feeling Rocky is going to shock all of us and go to Smackdown to face The Legend Killer Randy Orton just because Randy thinks he hott stuff right now. That’s my hope and Also believe Rock might be coming back soon………..

I am not sure if this is going to happen. But if it does, then Thank God! WWE needs The Rock right now.

I REALLY don’t believe this. We’ve heard so many rumours in the past about The Rock coming back and wrestling, but he hasn’t. Plus the history between Rocky and HBK isn’t exactly….well, “good”. I have no desire to see this match anyway.

I cant wait till the rock comes back i want to see how this plays out i personally think he should come back at the rumble since it is his home town in miami flordia. I cant waitttttttttt i hope he comes back.

i agree with all of u people.this article the wrestling site got out now about rock and hbk,i will have to say no i don’t beleave it now.lindsay is right to many wresting site’s saying this and that about rock.and this story about vince pulling big buck’s out, so rock can agree to do it.no i really don’t beleave it.he make’s more in movies then wwe. and yes i want him to kick randy ortion butt. now that i will see….
