   I just saw this issue on the newstand at Target yesterday. I was immediately grabbed by the title, “The Rock is Dead…” I thought, hmm…might Dwayne be leaving this piece of him behind? THis story is truly compelling because it outlines parts of his life, especially his early childhood that I never knew about. For example, his family’s moving around, his struggle in school always fighting with others, that he never really had an opportunity to form bonds with other school mates; how one Thanksgiving they could not afford a meal for their family so they went to eat at a friend’s house or that Dwayne used to steal clothes as a child or teen.

   It shows pictures of him & ex-wife Dany (who I did not know was his ex until I read the caption) and also a picture of him & his 6 yr old daughter.

   The article also speaks a bit of his mother, Ata, whose Samoan roots/heritage symbolizes a strength that he carries…

   He is for certain on his way to becoming an even bigger star than he already has evolved to be. It would be nice to see him in a dramatic role, as the article touches on that topic too.

   Fantastic article…great read!
